Wait, does microvlogging exist, or am I creating a new word? For sure, microblogging is a thing. Instead of a full blog, Facebook and Twitter allow you to post short pieces of written content. And YouTube Shorts are the vlog equivalent of microblogging. They’re bite-size, mobile-format videos within your YouTube channel.
Currently, I’m still in a #pandemicnothingtodo mood. The holidays are a few weeks away. My 1-year work anniversary is coming. Things are getting saner now that I know my way around the (virtual) office. So, I have room for hobbies again.
To get myself away from doing overtime, I will produce 1 Short a day for the next 30 days. That will occupy my time between 5 and 7 pm on workdays. It’s quite low-investment, since each short is 1 minute or less, so scripting and filming is easier. Hopefully at the end of 30 days, I will have 30 interesting thoughts!
